love affair with Snowball

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon for me and the only plans I have is to curl up on the edge of
my bed with a novel pass down from my brother. I was planning to get myself a nice cold drink before I settle down on my cosy corner, when I come across the bottle of advocat at the corner of my fridge. Nice warm feeling and beautiful memories came back to me and I decided to indulge myself further with Snowball.My love affair with Snowball dated back to more than 10yrs ago when I chanced upon it during one of my after exam, de-stress and let the hair down moment in Zouk! Snowball is a pale yellow, alluring concoction of Advocaat (egg liquer) and 7-Up. I can still recall that it was served to me in a tall glass, with a bright red cherry and pineapple slice seated at the brim of the glass. The creamy, subtle yellow of the drink reminds me of gentle warmness and my first taste of this beautiful creation brings upon a sense of satisfaction and desire. The taste was heavenly sweet with a mild eggy smell that blends so well with the soda. One has no slightest hint of knowing there's alchohol in the cocktail as it is so nicely covered up by the wonderful, exotic taste of the drink. It was a no return for me, as I complacently take in sip after sip of my newfound favorite... It is only after a while that I begin to feel the warmess of the alcohol's effect on my body. Still, I have no regrets and happily ordered another.Now as I comfortably lean myself on the pillow, with the book at my side and holding Snowball in my hand, I took a slow, much anticipated sip of it......... hmmmm..... it still taste as wonderful and fulfilling as it was 10yrs ago.
